April 16: Prevention of Animal Cruelty Poster Contest Award Ceremony

See what students in the Ohio Valley have to say about ways to prevent animal cruelty in our First Annual Poster Contest. Students in grades K-6 will be on hand with their posters displaying their creativity at Froehlich's Classic Corner in Steubenville, Ohio. Award Ceremony begins at 12:00 and shortly after, Prospect the Dog and his Chauffeur, Ed will make an appearance and talk to the students and their families. Stop and say hello and tell these kids what a great job they've done and say hello to Prospect and Ed!



May 7 - Mom and Me Grooming



Enjoy a Mom and Me Grooming Day at Hair City and support a great cause! Moms get a great haircut in time for Mother's Day and their four-legged companions get a bath and makeover! Contests for "stupid pet tricks" and "Pet and Parent Lookalikes" too! Raffles, prizes, food and a great time! Come and share the fun!



May 17 - Dine and Donate



Join us on Tuesday, May 17 at King's Family Restaurant in Wintersville, Ohio for Dine and Donate! From 5-9:00 pm, King's will donate 10% of each check to Animal Rescue Superhighway. Come out and enjoy good food and a good time!

June 1: New York State Animal Advocacy Day



Join us in The Well of the Legislative Office Building (LOB), Albany, NY together with Assemblyman Jim Tedisco, Senator Greg Ball, animal supporters and others so we can strengthen Buster’s Law and protect all members of our families!

July 30 - Walk 4 Paws



Walk 4 Paws is a nationwide initiative to raise awareness of three very important issues:

* The prevention of animal abuse, cruelty and neglect;

* Banning BSL - Breed Specific Legislation;

* The importance of spaying and neutering your pets

The Animal Rescue Superhighway is looking for animal lovers across the country to walk with us and help educate those who are unfamiliar with these imporant issues.
