Koala Kamp
This summer, the Animal Rescue Superhighway will offer Koala Kamp, a day camp for kids interested in learning more about animals and the animal welfare community. Our camp promotes kindness and compassion for all creatures and will combine enriching activities and experiential learning to foster childrens love and understanding of animals.
The Animal Rescue Superhighway is happy to offer this opportunity to our young people and we are looking for campers who want to build on their love for furry friends by learning how to provide a lifetime of love and care for animals.
Koala Kamp combines...
A different animal theme every day giving campers a variety of experiences;
Animal care and behavior learning activities, team projects, and craft activities;
Hands-on interactions with animals including cats, kittens, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, birds, and more;
Discussions with animal experts and professionals from several animal welfare agencies;
Live butterfly release on the last day mom and dad can come, too!
Koala Kamp celebrates the relationship between humans and animals, with a focus on how we can make animals feel safe and comfortable. Students have hands-on learning opportunities and will enjoy a variety of experiences with different animals throughout the week.
